Doula Support
I offer pregnancy, birth and postnatal doula support in and around the Leeds, covering most of West Yorkshire, York and some of North Yorkshire.

Pregnancy Doula Support
As your doula my priority is YOU and what you want and need to enable you to feel empowered during your pregnancy. I offer nurturing support to you and your partner, if you have one, during the transformative time of your pregnancy and as you embark on your newest adventure, life as a parent.
I am passionate about the support I give and the positive impact this can have on both yours and your birth partners birth and postnatal experience. I am here to be your personal birth cheerleader, on your team to support you to have the best beginning with your baby.
Birth Doula Support
As your birth doula, I provide continuous, personalised support for you and your partner (if you have one) throughout pregnancy, labour and birth. My role is to ensure you feel informed, empowered and supported every step of the way. I’ll help you explore your birth choices, navigate informed decision-making and advocate for your preferences while offering practical comfort measures and emotional reassurance. My priority is you - your needs, your wishes and your experience - so you can approach birth with confidence, no matter the location or circumstances.

Postnatal Doula Support
As your postnatal doula, when all eyes might be on your newborn baby, my job is to “mother the mother” and provide nurturing emotional, practical and informational support in the vulnerable early days, weeks or months after your baby is born. My goal is simple - to make your transition into parenthood smoother - leaving you feeling empowered, supported and cared for so you can thrive with your newborn.

What is a Doula?
A doula is a person who provides nurturing emotional, practical and informational support to you and your partner (if you have one) during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period; supporting you while you navigate an intense transformational period in your life.
Postnatally, at a time when all eyes might be on the newborn baby, a doula’s job is to “mother the mother” and make you feel like a goddess no matter where or how you give birth. The word 'doula' originates from ancient Greek language and means 'a woman who serves'. As a doula, I have no agenda, other than offering you options, information and supporting you to feel empowered to find the way that suits you best and help you thrive.

My training & qualifications:
I'm a self-confessed birth nerd and following my initial Hypnobirthing teacher training in 2021 I completed my Doula training as well as becoming a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter with Leeds Bosom Buddies. I continue to further my birth knowledge through reading, podcasts and relevant courses that enable me to support your birth preparation and beyond into parenthood. I'm insured and FEDANT (Federation of Antenatal Educators) accredited meaning I have professional standards to uphold.
